All about Behringer Pro Audio, Professional Audio Equipment, Professional Audio Mixer and more…
Music is becoming increasingly electronic. Over the past decade, indie music, an expanding genre, has moved farther into electronic territory. Sufjan Stevens, the ambitious folk musician who planned to release an album for each state in the Union, has recently released an auto-tune infused electronic album. He’s become much more ready to discuss professional dj equipment and what it means to use a professional audio mixer. In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, he spoke about his new album “The Age of Adz.” He says it has more “noise and electronics to kind of rattle my system and wake me up out of this dull kind of stupor” and to “…to inhabit a new musical environment.”
Clearly, if Sufjan wants to get into the latest musical habitat, he knows that it involves professional DJ equipment. And he’s not the only one foraying into new ground. Electronic music is exerting influence on hip-hop, rock, and indie tunes. Next time you listen to new music, try to spot where they brought int the professional audio equipment.
