Every good DJ knows that besides having an awesome setup of professional DJ equipment, you need awesome DJ headphones. A good set of headphones will allow you to hear the music properly and block out external sounds while you are performing. When it comes to DJ headphones, the bigger the better. A set of ear buds just won’t cut it. You need something that can deliver a wide range of frequencies. A closed cup over the ear will block out noise and allow for a healthy push of bass.
Choose a quality brand that is also durable. The speakers need to handle wear and tear and the constant abuse of listening to extremely loud music. Even if you’re not a DJ, investing in professional DJ headphones can be a great choice for audiophiles, such as myself. I listen to music every day on the train ride to work and at the office. I also take my music very seriously so it was an easy decision to make the investment. DJ headphones offer superb sound quality and they are much more comfortable to wear. Sure they’re a little big, but it’s well worth it to hear every cymbal crash and thump of the bass.
